Membership Information

Technology Management Association of Chicago (TMAC) consists of managers from companies with extensive R&D capabilities, technology entrepreneurs and anyone interested in keeping apprised of emerging technologies. The group meets monthly to discuss the latest in hot technologies and technology-related issues for business. At each meeting there is a presentation by a company, researcher or other expert on topics of interest, with an emphasis on keeping members informed of new technologies and business practices of use to technical managers. The meeting usually consists of a social/networking hour from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM followed by dinner and a presentation with Q&A lasting until about 8:00 PM.

Membership in TMAC provides a unique opportunity to network with other key technologists and entrepreneurs in the Chicago Metropolitan area. The complexity of today’s business environment coupled with the diverse technologies necessary to develop new and innovative products or services can be uniquely served through TMAC. Members attend meetings at a reduced price, may bring guests or send others in their stead at member cost.

Membership Fee Payments

Membership fees paid after March 1st will cover the balance of the current meetings through June as well as the following session of September-June meetings, effectively reducing meeting costs to member level for March-June in the current session. TMAC Members in the previous session have until October 15 to pay their membership fee for the new session, effectively allowing two meetings of grace to cover family responsibilities, business travel, unreasonable last-minute pointy-haired demands, the occasional project from hell as well as forgetfulness associated with general overload.
